     We were completely lost after we made the excruciating decision to find our beloved 'Buzz' a new forever home. Our vet suggested a 'breed specific' rescue group. When looking on the internet, all roads led me to Rescue Me! Almost immediately, I was contacted by several very worthy and loving families who asked important questions, shared with us their personal, family dynamics and we were able to talk candidly to find the 'right fit' family for Buzz. After plenty of emails, texts, phone conversations, and a little time to pause and wait, the best home for Buzz called and asked if she could drive over five hours to meet him last Saturday. This difficult time and saying goodbye could not have been more pleasant. Any tears were of joy and relief as Buzz was going to a much more relaxing and quiet home full of love. Buzz's new human has sent a picture of him chillaxin' and snuggled in blankets. We will surely miss him terribly, but the relief knowing he is loved and in a better suited home, far outweighs our grief.

     Sally went to a very nice family who had recently lost their sphinx. They have a Rex already who was mourning her loss greatly. She also has three kids to spoil her. I am told by the adoptive mother that Sally is doing quite well in her new environment and they are mutually happy. A great success story and happy ending for her. Thank you, Rescue Me.

     This is the best service. I was very worried about finding a home for these cats. I posted that Puja and Govinda needed a full time home and, within a few days, I received a number of emails inquiring about them. Happily, after due diligence on the part of both me and the adopting family, the cats moved into their new home. I know they are cared for and loved. It eases my heart and it especially eases the heart of their previous human companion to know they are safe and happy and cared for by such good people. Thank You, Rescue Me.

     Through this website, I was able to find an amazing couple who are now are the new owners of Harley, a Cornish Rex cat. They drove all the way from Dallas to Houston! I tried Craigslist, Kijiji, Oodle, etc. and got not one reply back. As soon as I placed the post on Rescue Me, I received a few dozen replies in a matter of only two days. It was crazy! I sincerely appreciate the work you do, Jeff, to make this possible for us people! Thank you! God bless.

     Hello! My mother is moving and had to give up Laverne. I was a wreck and very upset about this, so I offered to help make sure Laverne went to a loving home. The response on Rescue Me! was overwhelming! So many wonderful people offered to rescue Laverne. My mom and I decided on a fabulous couple, and Laverne is on her way to her new home. She will be missed, but, more importantly, she will be loved. Thank you!

     Thank you, Rescue Me!!!! We were at our rope's end trying to find Oni a new home. We posted her picture in hopes that someone would find her. On the 3rd and 4th day on your website I was getting worried. Hadn't gotten any responses and had spent hours upon hours calling shelters to find her a home. At the end of the 4th day I got a call from someone very interested in adopting her from us. Our conversations were good, and three days later I deivered Oni to her new home. The couple had been looking for a cornish rex for 5 months when they saw our posting. It was just meant to be! I am very pleased to know she is now with a wonderful and loving couple. I know Oni will be taken care, loved and appreciated! As hard as it was to have to let her go, I have been able to move on knowing she is in a great home! Thank you so much for 'Rescue Me'! You saved Oni's life! I couldn't have predicted that it would have worked out so perfect.

     Rescue Me! was a great site and my two loving boys found a home so quickly. I had a lot of answers to my post and the first family that came adopted them. I know they are in a loving home like ours, with a mom, teen and a grandpa again! I know that they will be taken care of well, which has made this heartbreaking task a little easier.

I am very pleased and confident that the family I chose to place them with will love and care for them. We agreed to keep in touch, so it was very comforting to receive her email with pictures of them in their new adoptive home.

My daughter is returning home to live with us for a year, and, while she has been away, she has developed severe cat allergies.      My boys have found a new home. I answered an inquiry and asked for a phone interview and learned a women had grown up with Rex's her Grandparents brought to the US from Europe. She is so excited to get these boys and will love them and spoil them in the manner they have become accustom too. She knows the breed and is a stay at home Mom which is exactly what I was looking to find as my job takes me away more and more and I feel guilty and I know the boys miss me. She lives out of state so I will be flying both them with a helper on Southwest airlines to Houston Hobby. I will get to meet the new owner although it will be hard coming back home I believe giving away friends or loved ones is pure love when you know in your heart it is for their well being. I have been blessed by google finding this site for me. I also will be supporting this site. When I retire I will definitely be looking for a pet and will use Rescue Me.      I am so thankful to Jeff Gold for providing the Rescue Me! site so I could find a new home for my beloved young Cornish Rex cat, Sniper. I am a 100% disabled veteran. My spouse of 29 years abandoned me with no notice leaving me in an unsure living situation as well as a financial and emotional vortex. I had absolutely no friends or living relatives to help. I needed to find Sniper a new loving and stable home. By the next morning after posting on Rescue Me! I already had my first query about Sniper. Within days I had found the perfect home and a couple drove from New Mexico to Las Vegas to take their new adopted child home. Sniper will be living like a Prince in a beautiful house where he can watch deer out the window and have many loving hands to pet him and play with him all day. Wish I could be so lucky. J. Daniels

     Dear Jeff. I found a great new home for Teesa! Thanks to your web site I had a lot of response from a wide range of people from all over the country. It was really a blessing for me to know she is being loved and pampered like my Mom wanted her to be. I new my home would never allow her to be comfortable for she did not want to be around other animals. The gal instantly fell in love with Teesa. She drove over three hours each way to meet her and was thrilled to adopt her. We had agreed that I would provide the funds to update her shots. However she refused to take the money after all cause she was so happy. An added warm fuzzy for me after all I have been thru with losing my Mom. Both of us were on tight budgets but more importantly Teesa was getting her great new home full of all the love she deserves. I had inherited three cats and I had already had one cat and two dogs of my own. Sadly I had lost my favorite of Moms cats... a Special Sphynx boy about a month after my mom died. Hit by a car and survived to drag himself home but he was badly hurt and we had to do the unthinkable. Then we got another incident where my husband had killed a dog that was off leash and ran in front of the car with no chance to stop. So its been rough recently but I smile just knowing how Teesa is being treated like a queen kitty and your web-site made that happen. Thanks so much for all your kind efforts put into Rescue Me!      Hi Jeff I'm so happy that a friend recommended your site. I did not want to euthanize Miss Cleo... not just because she cost us $500 when we got her, but because she had been such a wonderful sweet cat before we got the second Cornish Rex. We hoped that a new home without other pets or children would help her personality return. The folks who adopted her are familiar with the breed and had been wanting to get one. They're more than willing to work with Miss Cleo and we are communicating about her adjustment. I can't tell you enough how much that means to us. We gave her away for free and were happy to do so.
